Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Monday directed the United States to submit a written statement that described the process of procuring the Covid-19 vaccine and distributed it to countries.
A main justice bench Datta and Justice GS Kulkarni, who is a hearing of the Pils who is looking for a redressal problem faced by residents while booking a vaccination slot on the Cowin portal, requested the center to submit Affidavit on August 27.
Previously this month, HC has asked Maharashtra and the center why citizens cannot be informed long before the vaccination slot is available so there is no last minute pointed for bookings on the portal.
On Monday, the Maharashtra government, in a statement of his statement returned the pill, said the center told the state government of the number of vaccine bottles allocated to them, which was then provided directly by vaccine producers.

HC then directs the center to place, in a written statement, submission and detail of the vaccine unit allocated to Maharashtra.
