Bengaluru: Indian Space Research Organization on Tuesday issued a ‘opportunity announcement’ (AO) for the scientific community to analyze data from all Chandreation-2 orbiter charges.
Looking for a proposal for scientific analysis and data utilization of Chandrauran-2, Space Agency says Indian researchers have used data from Chandrauran-1 which allows a better understanding of the morphology of the month, the composition of the surface of the month, the possibility of magmatic existence as exogenic water.
Studies from Chandrayaan-1, said ISRO, have provided a wise view of the evolutionary month process, and that the study has expanded the Indian Lunar Science Community.
“To further strengthen the Indian Research Community for Lunar Science Studies, Chandraya-2 sacrifice data is available for public and scientific proposals requested for scientific analysis,” Isro said.
Chandrauran-2 orbiting is 100 km x 100 km of circular polar orbit around the moon and has eight experiments for studies ranging from surface geology and composition for exospheric measurements that will continue to be built based on the understanding of the previous month’s mission.
ISRO first released an orbiter data to the public in the last week of December 2020, and in July 2021, the next data set was released from the charge.
“Some science results by the payload science team have been published in international peer-review journals.
Chandrayaan-2 Orbiters produce high-quality data, which is available at https://pradan.issdc.gov.in for scientific analysis,” added ISRO.
The space agency added that more datasets will be added to this as obtained by various charges.
AO is open to all researchers from academic institutions recognized, universities, colleges, planetaries and Indian government organizations.
