Thane: Thane City on Tuesday reported 37 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall number of cases to 1,36,903.
During the day 47 people also recovered while one person with co-morbidities surrendered to the virus.
Active cases now stand at 441.
While the recovery rate is 98.16 percent, double the number is 2,709.
Among new cases, 19 people were tested positively in Majiwada-Manpada.
Five people were tested positively in Kalwa, followed by four each in Vartak Nagar and Naupada-Kopri.
Local-Savarkar Nagar, Uthalsar, Mumbra, and Diva each reported a new case.
One case was found from the jurisdiction of the city from Thane.
In fact, there are no new cases found in Wagale Ward.
