Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday is out with consolidated operational guidelines that are widely awaited for the implementation of 10% of orders for the economically weaker (EWS) for the appointment of the initial meeting in the post and for acceptance into educational institutions in the state.

Only those from EWS are eligible for a 10% quota that is not included in the booking scheme for SCS, STS and BCS and whose families have gross annual income under the RS 8 Lakh.
Income includes all sources – salaries, agriculture, business, profession etc.
for financial years before the application year.
The guideline stipulates that 33.3% of the initial promises under state governments intended for the EWS category will be allocated to women among them.
The maximum age for direct recruitment to the post will be increased by 5 years for the EWS candidate equivalent to SC, ST and BC candidates.
The benefits of reservations under EWS can be available after the production of ‘income certificates’ issued by Tahsildar.
If in the year of recruiting anything whatever vacancy intended for EWS cannot be filled because of the illness of a suitable candidate, vacancies for certain recruitment years will not be taken ahead of the next recruitment year as deposits.
Exemption from exam expenses must be given to the EWS candidate equivalent to the SC / ST / BC candidate in connection with direct recruitment.
If someone gets an appointment based on false claims, the service will be stopped for the conditions contained in the appointment offer.
According to the guidelines, the appointed authority must, in the offer of the appointment to the candidates who claim to belong to the EWS category, including the following clauses: “Temporary appointment and subject to a verified income certificate through the right channel and if verification reveals that the Claims of EWS are fake / False service will end with it without setting further reasons and without reducing further action such as those taken based on false false provisions / fake certificates.
