New Delhi: Ahead of the Punjab Polls, Shiromani Akali Dal on Wednesday won an important election for the Gurdwara Delhi Sikh Management Committee (DSGMC), won 27 out of a total of 46 seats.
Supported by victory, the third is troted in the election of the DSGMC, Shiromani Akali Dal (sad) President Sukhbir Singh Badal said it was the beginning of the “storm that would sweep the Congress and other than AAP” in the Punjab assembly poll next year.
The DSGMC President and Sad leader Manjinder Singh Sanso lost to Harvinder Singh Sarna from Akali Dal (Delhi) in Punjabi Bagh of 469 votes.
However, he is likely to be the President of Sikh’s body again as the Parbandhak Committee Shiromani Gurdwara (SGPC) nominated it as a DSGMC member on Wednesday night.
The Grotting Party Manjit Singh GK won in three wards, while Akali Dali (Delhi) was led by Paramjit Singh Sarna received 14 seats, said the Gurdwara election directorate.
Independent candidate Tarvinder Singh Marwah won the Jangpura ward.
Sad got 40.27 percent of the total surveyed votes, Akali Dali (DALI) 27.79 percent and the Jago Party 15.72 percent of the vote, according to data issued by the Directorate.
Overcoming the media in Delhi, the sad president of Badal said, “This is only the beginning of a storm that will sweep the Congress and besides AAP in the election of the Punjab 2022.” SANSA will be nominated as a DSGMC member on behalf of SGPC, the statement quoted by Badal.
“Sirsa stands near very, including victims of Covid, farmers and refugees of Sikh from Afghanistan, and have won the heart of a devout Sikh mass,” he said.
SANSA posted on Twitter: “We feel humble and blessed to win 27 seats from 46 in the DSGMC election.
This victory is a victory from Very Delhi.
We lowered our heads to the honor given to Shiroman from Delhi.” The sad president claimed that the Congress required police officers from Punjab to help the Chief of AMARINDER Religious Advisor Minister Amarinder Singh Sarna.

Punjab Bagh Ward has recorded the highest percentage of voting 54.10 percent, while the lowest (25.18 percent) in Sham Nagar, in accordance with the Directorate Figure.
In the previous election held in 2017, it came to control DSGMC by winning 35 wards.
