Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 357 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Thursday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 6,246.
The total number of cases from the beginning of last year’s pandemic stood at 6.56,455 and the death toll was at 3,865.
The number of active detention zones in the country is in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
On Thursday, 81,193 samples were tested for novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.42 Crore and has reached 6.51 lakh testing sample per million populations.
