Vaccination camp launched in 51 schools

Coimbatore: To ensure that school teachers and parents are vaccinated before schools reopened for class IX students to XII from September 1, vaccination camps were carried out in 51 high and higher secondary government schools in the district on Wednesday.
Coacheror collector has explained that only vaccinated parents, teachers and non-teaching staff will be permitted in school.
Exclusive vaccination camps are carried out in schools with more students in rural areas on the first day of the drive.
The school was asked to collect details of the parents who were not vaccinated, said Education Officer N Geetha.
“School authorities are asked to reach parents in WhatsApp.
We want to ensure that parents are vaccinated so students do not become a virus carrier,” the official said.
As all members of the higher government model staff in Asokapuram were vaccinated, special camps on Wednesday were focused on parents.
Headmistress S Rajalakshmi said that the focus is on vaccination 30% of parents who are not vaccinated or wait for the second dose.
“The old man’s sexy receives 250 vaccine doses that we received on Wednesday.
We give priority to those who have not taken the first dose,” he said.
More camps will be done in the coming days depending on the arrival of the vaccine, Geetha said.
“At least one dose will be given to those who visit the campus so they do not end up being a virus carrier,” the official added.
