THANE: A case was filed against a programmer for neglect that caused the passing of a female, who had been crushed to death beneath a heap of bricks, close to a building site at Diva at Maharashtra’s Thane district, authorities said Thursday.
An offence under section 304(a) (causing death by neglect ) of this IPC has been registered on Wednesday from the director of Kanak Real Estate in Shil-Daighar police station, an official said.
According to the authorities, the incident happened on the afternoon of May 17, even once the sufferer Vanita Vasudeo Chougule (52) and her boy had been walking from the job website in Khardi village.
Bricks in the website fell to the girl, burying her,” he explained, including that the victim’s son continued injuries in the collision.
The programmer hadn’t taken necessary precautions and security measures to prevent injuries, the officer stated.
The police had registered a case of accidental death, which was afterwards converted to a offence of culpable homicide not amounting to murder,” he added.
