Hocine Bethtir from Algeria won a bronze in the final 65 kg of Powerlifting men.
Jaideep in his first two attempts failed to register a 160kg elevator on the board.
Despite two attempts failed, Jaideep stated his third effort to 167kg and once again did not succeed because India completed the event without a score of his name.
Previously on that day, other Indian Powerlifter Sakina Khatun was fifth in the Final Powerlifting 50 kg of women.
Sakina, who has won a bronze medal in Commonwealth games, managed to lift 90 kg in his first attempt and could not exceed 90 kg.
