Patna: Cm Nith Kumar on Friday said the Bapu Tower, built in the Gardanibagh area of the state capital, will help future generations to understand the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and the impact of Bihar in his life.
The Bapu Tower, G + 6 Building, will accommodate various types of exhibitions relating to Gandhi, especially their visit to Chandaran Bihar in 1917.
The tower is being built at a cost of Rs 84.49 Crore.
When reviewing the presentation of “conceptual design for the exhibition display in Bapu Tower” at the Hall of CM ‘Sankalp’ here, Nitish said Bihar had a special place in Gandhi’s life.
“The situation that applies in Bihar during his visit to Chandaran has a special impact on Gandhi.
Likewise, Bihar people are strongly influenced by the ideology,” he said.
CM also said that Satyavah Champaran has a special interest in the history of the freedom because the country has been freedom for only 30 years after Gandhi’s arrival in Champaran.
“All events and places related to Satyavah Chamberan Gandhi must be clearly displayed at the upcoming Gandhi Tower,” Nithish told the building of the building construction department (BCD).
Previously, the architect associated with the building, made a detailed presentation before CM on the contents and design of the exhibition to be displayed in the tower.
Forging design, Nitish said the main goal behind the construction of the Bapu Tower was that the building helped the future generation to understand the ideology of Bapu.
Nitish also remembered how the government held a national two-day discussion in Gyan Bhawan (in Patna) on the opportunity for 100 years of Gandhi’s arrival at Bihar on April 10, 1917.
He said thinkers, ideologies, workers and youth of Gandhian from across the country had gathered in a two-day discussion And then a document about Gandhi’s ideology is also prepared.
“We also respect freedom fighters from all over the country on that occasion,” CM said.
CM also said that if even 10 to 15% of the younger generation adopted the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi, the community and the country would change.
Nitish said, Gandhi said that his life was his message.
CM also highlights seven Gandhi values that are very important to become true humans.
Nitish further asked BCD officials to describe all important Gandhi messages, especially those related to prohibitions, in the upcoming Bapu Tower.
Secretary BCD Kumar Ravi made a presentation on physical progress in the construction of the tower.
Nitish asked officials to complete the construction of a Tower Bapu as early as possible.
The head of State Secretary of Tripurari Sharan and Development Commissioner Amir Subhani also attended the meeting through video conferencing.
