New Delhi: Following the two-day national convention at the Singhu border, Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Saturday called on ‘Bharat Bandh’ on September 25.
In a statement, the Topheading Farmers Union of the Agriculture Movement on the Border of Delhi for the past nine months said the SKM National Convention on the Singhu border has decided to “form a committee with SKM in all states and districts in India, to ensure the expansion and intensification of PAN-India.” SKM said that at the Convention, it was also decided to make Muzaffarnagar Kisan Mahapachayat on September 5, great success.
“This will inaugurate the ‘Mission of Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand’ which will be reduced to the grassroots to ensure the defeat of the BJP regime in both countries,” said the statement.
The SKM National Convention was held on August 26-27 at the Singhu border near Delhi.
More than 2000 delegates from hundreds of organizations from 22 countries attended this Convention, the statement said.
