FISKEBACKSKIL: Indian Golfer Aditi Ashok fired five-bottom 64 which was sensational to move to seventh bound after the second round Digriksons Skafto opened here.
The 23-year-old, who had finished the fourth at the Tokyo Olympics earlier this month, has opened a tournament with a simple 72 in the first round but found his shape on time.
Among other Indians in the commotion, Vani Kapoor (71-69) was tied-to-18, while Amandeep Drall (80-68) showed an increase in 12 holes between the first and second rounds.
But Amandeep, who was 10 years old, missed a piece that fell on seven over and 64 players managed to reach the final round.
Also lost is Asta Madan.
Pauline Roussin Bouchard from France led the road to the last day after a brilliant second round score of 60 in Sweden.
Bouchard, who turned Pro just two weeks ago, crashing seven birdies and eagles on the seventh to shoot nine – under par.
He took the lead with four shots with a score -10.
The 21-year-old has completed runners-up for Annabel Dimmock in Jabra Ladies 2019 open after leading with a shot towards the last day.
Bouchard’s closest challenger challenger to Sunday is Swedish amateur Ingrid Linblad (66) at a total of six-bottom.
Magdalena Simmermacher fired 66 to finish the day with five and fourth, one in front of the Beatrice Wallin amateur.
Nicole Broch and Lim Grant tied fifth.
Sweden Pernilla Lindberg and Linda Wessberg were tied to seventh with 18 holes left to play with Ashok in two-down.
The top three in the race to Costa del Sol, Atthaya Thitisul, Sanna Nuutinen and Steph Kyriacou, all sat locked in a five-way tie for the tenth to one down.
