Thiruvananthapuram: Around 8,000 people receive immunization at the first functional Covid vaccination center 24×7 in government universities for women, Vazhuthhaud, since August 19.
Among them, 4,800 people received the first dose of vaccines, and 3,200 second dose.
About 3,700 people received vaccination during the Onam vacation.
All processes related to vaccination – registration, inoculation and observation – can be resolved in the vehicle itself.
Staff stated for vaccination will approach every vehicle and bring people through the process.
In middle vaccination can be disbursed for people over 18 through online registration.
Spot registration will open after 3 pm from Wednesday.
This project was carried out as part of the initiative of ‘Trivandrum Ahead’ from the District Administration.
Drive initiatives aim to immunize the maximum number of people on holidays.
Until now, more than 31 lakh vaccine doses have been distributed in this district.
