More than 100 residents, including senior citizens and women holding banners, causing slogans to builders at Terra’s location for delayed work.
They alleged that the developer took a residential (OC) certificate for the project in 2017 but failed to complete a delayed job even after 4 years despite repeated complaints.
The population demanded that the Terra OC project be detained by the authorities concerned until all work in the project was resolved by the builder.
More than 600 families currently live in the city.
Satyavir Sangwan, a resident, said, “Conditional OC is given by the department related to the provisions that in the absence of important services such as electricity, water and sewer, the builder will provide this service to the residents.
However, the builder failed to complete a delayed job after getting partial OC, and we continue to suffer.
“Residents complain that during the rainy season, the community will flood.
Basement is usually filled with water and plaster is tearing.
The whole structure is compromised when the pillars have suffered severe damage, other residents said.
PK Naithani, President of Rwa Park Serene, said, “The department has not conducted an audit and even if the authority continues an order, the builder shamelessly breaks it.” Rajeev Gupta, CMD BPMS, said that the water storm flowing in the area has not been placed by GMDA.
“We have placed other steps to pump storm water in an adjoining area to avoid flooding on the site.
Electricity infrastructure, including our 33kv substation is ready, but can only be given energy as soon as the DHBVN feeds the 33kv substation in the 99 sector assigned,” said Gupta.
