Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 338 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Tuesday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 5,864.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year, stood at 6,58,054 and the death toll was at 3,873.
The number of active detention zones in this country stand in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
364 patients were declared recovered on Tuesday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.48,317.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.48 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in the state have asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have symptomatic.
On Tuesday, 74,207 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed sample testing of 2.46 crore and has reached 6.61 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 84 cases on Tuesday, while Medchal Malkajgiri adjacent to 17 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 21 and Sanga Reddy recorded 3 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and the edges, Karimnagar with 30 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
