Hyderabad: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has banned the Director of Tollywood Puri Jagannadh throughout the day on Tuesday in a drug case damaged in 2017.
Ed has investigated suspicious transactions in the accounts of drug traders accused of tarpaulin.
ED officials were reported to ask a number of questions to the Director to find out whether he handed over a relationship with a drug dealer.
Based on the cost sheet submitted by the Exhibition Ministry and ban Telangana, Ed has investigated money laundering problems in drug cases.
ED officials said 12 cases had been ordered under the prevention of money laundering laws and 11 sheets of costs have been submitted.
Puri Jagannadh is baked based on the cost sheet and statement of Calvin Masceran, the main drug trader.
The ‘Traffickers’ statement which was recorded as the son of the Akash Puri and auditor director they also attended the question.
“We have noted the statement of drug smugglers, including Masceran Calvin musicians.
We have gone through banking and other payment channels of drug smugglers and tollywood celebrities.
There are several suspicious transactions that might be associated with drug trafficking,” said an official ed.
Under the Narcotics and Psychotropic drug laws (NDPS), it is difficult for the Excise Ministry to nail the suspects.
Of the 62 suspects, including Tollywood celebrities, only eight, most drug traders are lowered, have been played.
Calvin, a resident of Bowenpally, peddling LSD and MMDA.
Interestingly, the cost sheet submitted by the Excise Ministry only reaches one or two pages and without details in it.
Initially, Ed had asked the High Court to issue orders to the Excise Ministry to submit documents related to the drug case.
