Ahmedabad: Schools in Gujarat see thin participation from grade 6 to grade 8 primary level students for whom campus studies are continued from September 2, amid fears that will occur in the third wave of Coronavirus.
For private schools, only 12.26% of the total strength of students attended school on the first day, according to data compiled by the state government.
From 10,86,871 students in private schools, 1,33,302 grade 6 students to grade 8 went to school on Thursday.
In Ahmedabad, 2,361 students 21,033 or 11.23% went to school.
According to the reopening guidelines of the school, only 50% of students were allowed to attend, the presence was around 24% at 2.
Surdranagar saw the highest presence of 32.24% while the lowest view of the botad at 5.17%.
The state government of the State has quoted a major decline in the case of Coronavirus in the state to justify their decision to reopen schools in a strict way with protocols and covid guidelines.
For government schools, 19,83,652 students around 34% or 6.77.111 students attended school.

At Ahmedabad the presence was 29.71% with 17,469 students attending from total strength of 58,803.
Navsari district saw the highest participation with 54.85% while Portherar District had the lowest participation with 15.92% attendance.
Although 50% of the arrogance, districts such as Navsari and Aravalli (52.57%) see more than half of the total strength of students attending school on the first day.
