New York: People who experienced a breakthrough Coronavirus infection after being fully vaccinated by around 50% less likely to experience a long covid than people who were not vaccinated which captured the virus, the researchers said in a new report in the UK.
This study, published in the Journal of the Lancet infectious disease on Wednesday, also provides more evidence that the Pfizer-Bontech vaccine, modern and Astrazeneca the Two-Shot offers strong protection against symptomatic and severe diseases.
“This is the first study that shows the length of Covid.
Reduced by double vaccination,” said the lead author of Claire Steves of King’s College London.
