PATNA: State water resources division has obtained all of the precautionary steps to prevent any emergency arising because of excessive rain brought on by cyclone Yaas, minister Sanjay Jha said on Thursday.
Jha reported that a 24×7 monitoring of all of the rivers, especially those of south Bihar, is happening and an alarm is already sounded to each of the staff and officials of the section.
“Since the cyclone is entering south Bihar through Jharkhand, there’s absolutely not any significant danger to this north Bihar rivers.
South Bihar rivers need more care in light of the fact they can lead to flash flooding in case of extra rain,” he explained.
