Marvel ‘Shang-chi and the legend of ten rings’ started with a ‘very good’ start at the domestic box office office.
Film, which is a stand-alone Asian superhero film, opened exclusively in theaters on Friday.
According to a report on boxofficeindia.com, the film is headed for the largest opening day collection for the post-pandemic release.
Even though this film was released to be less than the film ‘Bell Bottom’ Akshay Kumar, ‘Shang-chi’ was set for a large opening, stating a booking face alone standing around Rs 1.50 Crore Nett to RS 2 Crore Nett.

Given Marvel has a large fan base in India, and the film ‘Avengers: Endgame’ opened to record numbers, under normal circumstances, the film will fly past other Hindi releases.
However, with cinemas running only 50% of dwellings and cinema rooms are still closed in several parts of the country, the number is expected much lower.
That said, this film must also share the box office with Vin Diesel Starrer ‘Fast & Furious 9’.
Akshay Kumar ‘Bell Bottom’ and Amitabh Bachchan ‘Chehre’ also currently records each of the third and second Friday.

Directed and written by Asian-Americans, film centers about Shang-chi trained killers tried to live ordinary life in San Francisco, trying to get away from his father’s shadow.
The film team assured that their robbery to Marvel Cinematic Universe was something that spoke to the experience of Asia America.
