Mumbai: As the city rolls under fear of the upcoming third wave, Mumbai on Friday reported 422 new Coronavirus cases.
The overall case has now risen to 7.45,434.
Also, the death toll has now increased to 15,987 with three people who surrendered to the virus that day.
The number of daily recovery in the maximum city has seen a decline in the last few days.
On Friday, 303 people recovered from Covid-19, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With a 97 percent recovery rate, Mumbai has so far recorded 7.23,458 release.
The city is now left with 3,532 active cases.
The overall growth rate of the Covid-19 case from August 27 to September 2 is 0.05 percent, while the doubling level is 1,416 days.
The number of buildings sealed in the BMC limit is now put in 43, while there are no active detention zones (slums and chawls) in the city.
