Nagpur: The Sangh Parivar Constituent leaders started a two-day closed door on the SMRuti Mandir RSS campus on Friday.
Organizing the Secretary of all RSS affiliated clothes, including BJP BL Santosh, studied to reach Nagpur for the meeting.
RSS, who prefer not to comment on the process, loses it as a change-together that occurs every year in September.
This time, the meeting coincided with the plan to protest by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) – RSS trade arms and also drum Sabha – farmer’s body.
The Sabha Drive Protest will be held on September 8 requires the Minimum Support price (MSP) followed by BMS on the increase in prices of all important commodities.
A senior RSS official who was contacted by Toi said the discussion was informal and not for public consumption.
“All problems that have national interests are certainly discussed, even though they are informal,” said the source.
Independent RSS observer and also a veteran Swayams Swaymsevak Deodhar said the meeting would discuss the overall problem of the upcoming assembly polls in five states – Uttar Pradesh, Punjab Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur – to also have a more liberal image of the Sangh.
.
The discussion will also include Mumbai Civic polls, with plans drawn to defeat Shiv Sena.
The plan is expected to be withdrawn given the political developments in Punjab and in the light of Akali Dal runs out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Deodhar said.
He also claims that Sangh Parivar also plans to increase his presence in the cooperative sector through his arm – Sahakar Bharati.
At present, this sector is dominated by NCP and Congress in Maharashtra, he added.
Even developments in Afghanistan are expected to be discussed during the meeting, in the light of its impact on India.
There is a part of the RSS, which leans on a more radical ideology, but there is also a view to change images as against general perceptions to fight Muslims, Deodhar said.
The meeting can discuss the proposal to change the historical curriculum and make it more nationalist, he said.
