Hyderabad: Three government school teachers at Eturunagaram tested the positive Covid-19, while a school at Bhadradri Kothagudem was closed after a teacher was infected with Coronavirus on Thursday.
Schools throughout Telangana reopened for class in – People in September 1.
Eturunagaram Zilla Parishad High School in Muluugu, three double vaccinated teachers were tested positive on Thursday.
There were 630 students at school, where 200 attended the class on Thursday.
Nine students and seven teachers, which are the main contacts of three infected teachers, tested for Covid-19 and the results are negative.
“We conducted a test on the main contact on Friday and all tested negative.
If necessary, the test will be done again after a few days,” Muluugu District Education Officer (Deo) D Vasanthi told TII.
In the Nizamabad district, a female student and an officer who was tested positive at Thallatram’s school at Jergatla Mandal.
The Covid-19 test was carried out for 75 students at school, but there was no positive case.
“Both of them have been tested positively are quarantine.
The whole place of school has been disanitized, but we are on guard,” Deo Ch vs Janardhan Rao said.
However, Deo said he was unconscious if the perpetrators were tested positively, had taken two doses of vaccines.
The Parishad Mandal Elementary School in Govindapuram at Bhadradri Kothagudem, which was sealed following a positive case, will be reopened on September 6 and functions from other buildings.
Of the 15 students attending school from 19, no one tested positive.
