New Delhi: More than 66.07 Doses of Covid-19 Crore Vaccine so far provided for the state and the United States by a free center and under the category of direct state procurement, the UNI Health Ministry said on Saturday.
It was also said that more than 4.49 crores (4,49,68,620) balance and vaccine doses that were not used were still available with the state / UTS.
The Union government is committed to accelerating steps and expanding the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country, the ministry said in a statement.
“More than 66.07 Crore (66.07.19.455) The vaccine dose has been given to the state / UTS so far (free channel costs) and through the direct country procurement category.
Furthermore, more than 85 doses of lakh (85,63,780) is in the pipe,” he said .
Vaccination drives have increased through the availability of more vaccines, advanced visibility availability of vaccines into the state / UTS to enable better planning by them and streamline the vaccine supply chain, the statement said.
As part of a national vaccination drive, the Indian government has supported the country / UT by giving them free covid vaccines.
