Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 306 new Covid-19 cases and 3 deaths on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 5,673.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.59,313 and the death toll was 3,883.
The number of active detention zones in this country stand in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
366 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.49,757.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.55 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Saturday, 69,422 samples were tested for novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.49 Crore and has reached 6.69 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 78 cases on Saturday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri nearby 16 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 12 and Sanga Reddy recorded 3 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 31 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
