Bhopal: The Head of the Training Center and two school students have been arrested by the Gwalior police in connection with the Digital Robbery of Rs 5.5 Crore, allegedly carried out by Nigerian gangs that hacked to Bank Bahrain and Kuwait servers in Mumbai.
Around Rs 22.5 lakh from stolen money was transferred to an account from three suspects held in Gwalior, police said.
SP Amit Sanghi told Ti that they were told by the Crime Branch of Mumbai, who was investigating this case.
“Children learn in class 12 and paid each of the Rs 20,000 to receive stolen money in their account,” the officer said.
“They said they only passed it to another account they paid,” he said.
Police are looking for a suspect who has connected the trio with Nigerian hackers.
