Kanpur: The police have conducted the National Security Law (NSA) against Jaikant Bajpayi and his aide Prashant Dubey alias Dabbu on Saturday.
JAI was the alleged gangster investors who were killed by Vikas Dubey, who masterminded the massacre of the bicru where eight police were killed on the night of July 2, 2020.
Bajpayi was accused of providing Vikas 25 cartridges of 0.32 bore revolvers and cash worth 2 lakh July 2 before the bicycle attack.
He also tried to help Gangster run immediately after the massacre.
All of this happened during the investigation and then the police put his name in the case of a bicro.
To beg for NSA, the police have presented a report in front of the District Judge (Kanpur).
“After the DM approval, the notification of the Action of NSA was presented on both of them in prison,” SP (Outer) Ashtbhuja Singh to Ti on Saturday.
The police also stated in his report that Jaikant was aware that Vikas hatched a major conspiracy against the police.
Even after that, he (Jaikant) did not try to tell the police about it.
The police said in the report because of the help of Jaikant Bajpai, the incident of the bicru occurred.
As a result, panicking spread throughout the area and villagers must flee.
Apart from this, Prashant Shukla aka Dabboo was also involved in this scandal.

Previously, the NSA action was taken against three people in the case of a bicro.
To remember, the police on July 1, 2021 just before the commemoration of the bicycle, had asked the NSA against the Muslim Bablu and Ramesh Chandra.
Before that, the police had in the third week of June calling NSA against one Shivam Dubey, the aide and cousin of Vikas who along with the gangster was also allegedly involved in shooting eight police officers.
Under the NSA, a person can be detained at no charge for up to 12 months if the authorities feel he is a threat to national security or law and order.
Eight police were ambushed by Vikas and his aides in the village of Bikru in the Kanpur Chaubeyypur area when they arrested him and fell into the bullets fired from the roof shortly after midnight at 2 & 3 July, 2020.
Dubey was killed in a meeting on the morning of July 10 when a police vehicle Taking it from Ujjain to Kanpur met an accident and he tried to escape from the place in the Bhenuti area in Sachendi.
Before his meeting, five of the alleged colleagues were killed in a separate meeting, while 45 including two police officers and four women were arrested and sent to prison.
