Dubai: Two injured children and damaged buildings when ballistic missiles were intercepted above the eastern region of Saudi Arabian oil on Saturday, the Defense Ministry said.
The missile was intercepted in the outskirts of Dammam, with bullet fractions that spread injured two Saudi children and caused light damage to 14 houses, a statement brought by the state news relief spa.
Photos in the media state showed broken glass and the broken entrance from several housing buildings.
The coalition blamed the attack on Houthi forces aligned Iran.
There is no claim to be immediate responsibility in the media managed by Houthi.
The coalition also said it intercepted and destroyed ballistic missiles towards Jazan and Najran in the southern part of the country.
Previously reported an interception of three ledfosive-loaded drones towards the kingdom.
Saudi Arabia east is home to significant oil infrastructure that had previously been targeted by air strikes.

Yemen’s Houthi, who regularly launched a drone and missile into the kingdom, has claimed responsibility for several attacks on the installation of Saudi oil in the past.
A source familiar with the problem said there was no impact on the facilities belonging to the oil-controlled oil giant Aramco and that the attack occurred outside the Aramco facility.
“The Ministry of Defense will take the necessary and deterrent steps to protect the soil and its abilities, and stop hostile attacks and cross-borders to protect civilians, in accordance with international humanitarian law,” the ministry said.
The military coalition led by Saudi in Yemen in 2015, the power of government supported by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi against Houthi.
