New Delhi: Time has come for India to become “Vishwa Teacher” once again and emerge as a center of knowledge and innovation, Venkaiiah Naidu’s vice president said on Sunday.
He also said that the country should not try to maintain but also try to preserve the cultural heritage and his rich inheritance.
At the Facebook post to mark the alert Birth of Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, which was celebrated as a teacher’s day, Naidu said that “each of us owes, in large size, his career choices in life for mentoring and guidance by our teachers”.
India, the vice president observed, is a learning center recognized in ancient times, he said.
