Pune: The State Task Force on Monday calls for exercise to be careful ahead of the celebration, especially in the districts that are a concern, and follow the Covid-19 protocol strictly.

“Following the Covid protocol is the only way to curb the spread of the virus.
If people don’t cover themselves and don’t avoid the crowd in front of the celebration, we can expect the third wave faster,” he told Toi.
The health authority highlights the increase in Covid-19 patients in “Khawate District” Maharashtra for the past 10 days and expressed fear of the possibility of the third wave of these areas.
Of the 52,025 active state patients, as many as 37,897 (72.84%) came from five districts – Pune, Thane, Satara, Ahmednagar, and Mumbai, said the Secretary of the Additional Chief Dr.

The presentation stated that there was no decline in the case in the last 10 days, while the number of active cases increased slightly during this period.

Of 44, 437 Covid patients reported in the last 10 days, 68% of patients (30,313 patients)) came from five districts – Pune (22%), Ahmednagar (17%), Satara (11%), Solapur and Mumbai (9% respectively).
“The rate of growth and the level of weekly front in the districts is too high.
With the Ganesh Festival starting from Friday, there is a possibility that the case rises there.
Administration needs to be considered in these districts,” said a senior health official.
