Jammu: Together Team from the Army and Police Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday claimed to have solved the terror module in the Poonch district with the arrest of three operators J & K Ghaznivi, in addition to recovering weapons and ammunition from ownership.
Adgp (Jammu Zone) Mukesh Singh said this trio was assigned to do terror activities in Poonch.
He said that security forces, based on specific inputs, arrested one Jahangir Ali Poonch and during the search for his bag, two pistols, four Chinese grenades, 100 rounds of pistols and four pistol magazines were restored.
“During the investigation, it was found that the defendant would hand over the consignment to Basharat Khan and Sheraz of Sangla, both from Surankote in the Poonch District.
Duo was then arrested by doing simultaneous raids in a different place,” Adgp Singh said.
