Shanghai: The Chinese Ministry of Education said on Wednesday that private tutors would be prohibited from offering online courses through roads such as instant messaging services or livestreaming platforms, or in unlisted places such as housing buildings and hotels.
Beijing earlier this year prohibits non-profit les from every school subject in an effort to reduce pressure on children and parents to increase the birth rate of the nation.
