SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday asked the Taliban to rule Afghanistan in a pattern where Medina was carried out according to pure sharia law during the Prophet’s time.
“If the Taliban follows a real Islamic sharia in Afghanistan where the right for women, children and parents are determined, they can be an example for the world,” Mehbooba said, while speaking at the public rally in Kashmir in Kundur.
“The Taliban should not rule Afghanistan as they did in their first term, when they presented the image of being against humanity and human rights.
This time, they must follow the true Islamic Sharia as mentioned in the Koran that determines the right to women, children -The child and parents, “he added.
“If they adopt this model, only other countries will do business with them.
But, if they repeat the method used by them in the nineties, it will be very difficult for Afghanistan and the whole world,” he said.
