Pune: The metropolitan area Pune (PMR) added 992 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday compared to 947 recovery.
In addition, 10 more patients gave up on infection here in the last 24 hours, took the total amount to 18,769 so far.
Everyday cases in rural areas increased above 500 again to 537.
A total of 257 patients were added to the limit of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and 184 in the Pimbri Chinchwad area.

A total of 128 patients were removed in the PCMC limit, while 242 were disposed of in the PMC area.
More than 11.22 Lakh people have tested positive PMR so far, while 10.95 lakh recovered from Covid-19 after treatment.
A report released by Bhagwan Pawar District Health Officer stated that 27,666 samples were tested at PMR on Wednesday.
Among the deaths Wednesday, five were recorded in rural areas, four in the PMC limit and one in the Pimpri Chinchwad area.
