Amravati: Much as Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University is gearing up to the 37th convocation on Saturday, a complaint was lodged against its vice-chancellor and expert vice-chancellor demanding enrollment of criminal offences from them for inducing Rs72 lakh reduction to the varsity.
The complainant Dinesh Suryavanshi, former member of the varsity’s administration firm, declared the VC Murlidhar Chandekar and expert VC RS Jaipurkar had given a contract to a nearby business of their favor.
Suryavanshi maintained the VC along with the expert VC misused their abilities to favour town’s Dot Com Infotech Pvt Ltd to its installment of web-based incorporated university management program (WIUMS) in a price of Rs72 lakh.
Suryavanshi also required enrollment of criminal offences from Chandekar for allegedly deceiving the research committee at getting shortlisted for its consultation as VC and subsequently becoming chosen on the power of bogus info.
