London: The lyrics of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “Imagine” have been projected on buildings around the world to mark 50 years since it is located Beatle releasing tracks and famous albums.
From the houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral in London to Times Square in New York, “imagine everyone who lived life in peace” had been radiant to sites to celebrate Thursday’s birthday.
Lennon released the album “Imagine” on September 9, 1971 and the title tracked had long been regarded as one of the biggest songs of all time, according to music publications.
“John will like this.
‘Imagine’ to realize what we believe together at that time,” Ono said in a statement.
“We are still together now and we still believe this.
The sentiment is as important as now when it was written and released 50 years ago .
“The lyrics were also radiant on Tuesday night in Berlin, Tokyo and in the city of Lennon in Liverpool, reflecting a projection campaign similar to Ono 20 years ago.
The limited edition suppressor of the album “Imagine” as a double LP on White Vinyl is being released on Friday to mark a warning.
