PANAJI: Because more and more institutes and universities enter the competition every year, the rank of Goa University fell to the 96th position at the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021, stated by the Ministry of Education on Thursday.
However, the university managed by the government and the government continues to continue to display in the list of the 100 best universities in the country.
In 2020, GU had increased its ranking to 81st position, from the 93rd of the previous year in 2019.
The 68th best rating at the university was reached in 2018.

Several government universities received a range in the year category too, no institute of cave that managed to reach the best 100 in this country in the overall category.

Goa College of Pharmacy is ranked 56 in the list for the 75 Best Pharmacy Institutes in the country.
