New Delhi: Karnal Administration on Friday restored internet services in the district amid farmers agitation that was ongoing in the mini-secretariat that had entered its fourth day.
This step has sighed relieved for farmers who were nervous on the protest site.
Internet facilities were suspended in five districts adjacent Karnal in front of Kisan Mahapachayat on September 7 to curb the spread of inflammatory farmer speech.
However, facilities have now been restored in all districts.
Meanwhile, farmers’ unions have decided to meet again on Saturday (September 11) to complete future actions to support their demands.

Apart from this, they also seek compensation for RS 25 lakh and government work for relatives of farmers who died in the incident and compensation of RS 2 lakh each for injured farmers.
