Truck carrying 400 boxes of Spirits to Gzb looted

Ghaziabad: Armed robbers looted a miniature truck taking 400 boxes of spirits in Kotwali area of Ghaziabad on Thursday evening.
Cops stated that the truck driver Shehzad, by Dadri, along with his assistant, Shyam Singh, were likely to send the spirits out of a godown at Vijay Nagar into a store at Ambedkar Nagar street in Kotwali place if they had been discontinued from the robbers.
Two people allegedly chased the vehicle at gunpoint about 3pm on Thursday and took it outside Loni.
Following a couple of hours, they abandoned the driver and helper in the Tila Mod place in Loni and returned together with all the truck.
The duo subsequently advised the car owner and authorities.
On Thursday night, police found the truck from Mahmoodpur village.
Locals said it’d turned turtle and 2 guys within it and others piling on a bicycle ran off leaving vehicles.

Locals told authorities the truck had been arriving at high speed as it turned off; the 2 guys in the car, and others on a tracking bicycle ran off after reliving vehicles.
The natives, claim authorities, took the spirits home.
SP City-2 Gyanendra Singh told TOI they obtained information concerning the episode around 5 pm Thursday and hurried to the place.
“We then began a search procedure and discovered the truck approximately 5.
45 pm,” the SP said.
“After we touched and discovered that the truck together with boxes comprising the spirits.
When we advised another police station concerning the vehicle to receive information of it, then we came to understand from Loni a motorist and his helper are still asserting that their truck had been hijacked by a few individuals.
The offender attacked them loni,” he explained.
On the grounds of the criticism received by the sufferer, a case was lodged with the Tila Mod police station against unidentified individuals under section 392 (prosecution ) of IPC.
Authorities are assessing the CCTV footage to trace the offenders.
