Kolkata: Some organizers of Puja Durga, Police and KMC officials track ganesh preparation and guidelines adopted by committees, and immersion plans because they feel they will be useful a month later.
Even though there has been a surge in Ganesh Pujas in the city and suburban this year, the scale is not close to Durga Puja, which calls for police mobilization and complicated arrangements for immersion by KMC.

According to a rough estimate, there are nearly 1,200 pujas in Kolkata this year, most of the complex.
“Residents of the neighboring block we organize Puja Ganesh and hold meetings with police and civil authorities, which provide a list of DOS and should not be done.
We celebrate on Friday but also observe guidelines so we can plan Durga Puja in our block,” said Debi Prasad Ghosh, Secretary of AC Block in New Town.
“Visiting Ganesh Pujas helps us understand the gap, we need to plug in puja durga,” said BAPI Haldar, President of the Puja Durga Committee in Kolkata Utara.
The police and KMC officials also treated Ganesh’s immersion, the most planned for Sundays, such as exercise dresses for the main event next month.
“Placement, route for soaking and rules for soaking Ganesh will be useful during soaking Durga Puja,” said an officer.
