Thane: The Thane session court sentenced a 49-year-old man from Mumbra for raping a two-year-old girl and sentenced to ten years of hard prison.
The defendant, Abdul Khalid Mohammad Emperor Shaikh, was punished by Kavita D Shirbhate, additional session judges and assessing special cases (Pocso) and imposed a fine RS10,000 to be paid to the victim as compensation through the Guardian mother.
Eight was witnessed to testify in court.
