Lucknow: Two criminals disguised as police robbed a woman’s ornament in Aashiana on Saturday.
This is the third case of a week where a woman was cheated by criminals who posed as police.
Kishana Devi from Saketpuri in Alambagh was shocked by criminals near Plum Plaza at Ruchi Khand II around 11.20 in the morning.
Posing as a police officer, they asked why he was wearing ornaments when the same thing was not permitted.
Intimidated, Devi can’t face them.
“They asked me to postpone my ornaments, wrapped them on a piece of paper and then returned the package to me before leaving.
When I checked it, I found small pieces of stone,” he said.
The case has been registered.
