Aurangabad: Total Covid Vaccination within the boundaries of Aurangabad on Sunday rose to 7,51,681, including 5.23,187 people who had received the first dose accounting of 45% of the total target population of 11.77 lakh 18 years and above.
While the vaccination drive scheduled for September 10 was canceled because of the initial Ganesh festival, a replacement drive conducted on Sunday saw a total of 1,975 beneficiaries obtaining Jab.
The relatively poor recipient of beneficiaries is associated by health authorities until the beginning of the celebration of three days of Gauri Pooja on Sunday.
Among the various age groups, a total of 74,460 residents over the age of 60 have received the first dose of vaccines against Covid-19 so far while the other 55,784 have been fully vaccinated has received the dose.
Other age groups from 45 to 59 years – also considered as vulnerable groups – have received 1,16,365 highest doses, where 89,280 has obtained the two doses.
Meanwhile, Aurangabad on Sunday reported 10 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of active cases to 70, including 28 patients received at a private hospital.
