Varanasi: The feared criminal and exact shooter Deepak Verma, desirable in some cases of murder and extortion, was shot dead by STF in the fire exchange near Bariyasanpur Village under the Cholapur police station on Monday afternoon.
A total of 23 cases of murder, booty and other crimes were submitted against Verma, to whom the police had announced the cash prize of RS 1 Lakh.
Verma, who has been a sniper from Slain Mafia Don Pracash aka Munna Bajrangi, fled since 2015.
He was involved in several murder sensations, including a double murder at the gate of the Jail Central Naini in Prayagraj.
According to STF, to get input regarding the existence of Verma in Bariyasanpur Village under the Cholapur Police Station, the Stf Varanasi Unit Team was led by Deputy SP Shailesh Singh and Inspector Amit Srivastava Cordoned to the village.
When Verma along with one hand came out of the village on a motorcycle, he was surrounded by police.
He then opened a fire indiscriminately at the police.

Verma suffered a bullet injury and fell on the road while his accomplice managed to escape.
The police rushed to commit Verma who was seriously injured to the SPG division hospital where the doctor said he died.
Police restore pistols, revolves, live cartridges and motorbikes from the place.
Regarding the Verminal History of Verminal, the police said that a total of 26 criminal cases were mostly murder, booty and extortion submitted against him with the Varanasi and ProAgraj police station.
A native of Ramapura Luxa in Varanasi, Verma has become active in the world of crime in 2011 and sent to prison by the police.
