World Athletics (WA) has transferred Cross Country, Joint Events, and Race Walking Meeting to the Three-level world tour format to allow the management agency to create a simpler international event calendar.
Competition in the WA Cross Country Tour, a combined tour and Race Walking Tour event will have a gold, silver and bronze status, with a calendar for each announced in time.
WA said there would be a $ 400,000 prize money for offers for the best players, which included a collection of new $ 75,000 for the best country and women’s runners.
“One of our main goals …
is to increase competitive opportunities and earn for elite athletes around the world and this new tour format is designed to do that,” said President Sbastian Coe in a statement on Tuesday.
“They will also make new roads for fans to watch our leading athletes, either directly or through broadcasts or Livestream.” All gold-level tourism meetings will be displayed at WA’s Youtube Channel and this organization is working on the same coverage plan for the combined program next year and racial tourism.
