Ramgarh: eight people, including women and minors, were killed in two separate road accidents in the Ramgarh Jharkhand district on Wednesday, police said.
Five of them scorched death because their car burned after a head collision with the bus, they said.
The accident occurred on Ramgarh-Gola’s main road around 8 in the morning, Prabhat Kumar police supervisor told PTI.
The bus driver was also injured critically and was hospitalized, said the police, added, the deceased including two men, two women and teenagers.
A few hours after the incident, three people died and two other people suffered injuries when their vehicle was traveling with turtles after the road divider near Bongabar Village in the district, said a police officer said.
Wounded people underwent treatment, he added.
