Hyderabad: Telangana on Wednesday recorded 324 new Covid-19 cases, pushing the calculation to 6.62.526, while the victim rose to 3,899 with another death.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) contributed most cases with 79, followed by Khammam (24) and Karimnagar (22) of the district, said the state government bulletin, provided details at 5:30 a.m.
on Wednesday.
280 people were restored from infectious diseases on Wednesday.
The cumulative amount of recovery until the date is 6.53,302.
The number of active cases is 5,325, said the bulletin.
73,323 samples were tested on Wednesday, taking the cumulative number of specimens checked as far as 2.56.53,080.
The sample tested per million population was 6.89.228.
The case fatality rate in the state is 0.58 percent, while 1.3 percent at the national level.
The recovery rate in Telangana was 98.60 percent, while it was 97.59 percent in this country.
