Panaji: states that the expert opinion report does not conflict with the postmortem report in the case of the death of the 19-year-old girl, the Goa police on Thursday said that a thorough investigation was being carried out to ensure the nature and the way the girl was found dead.
A senior police officer said that medical experts only provide causes of death in cases of unnatural deaths, but it is the police duty to investigate nature and the way in which deaths occur in logical conclusions.
“We haven’t stopped investigating this case.
We are still exploring all angles, including murder, suicide and accident.
Active efforts to gather evidence to pursue certain angles,” said the senior police officer and added, “We haven’t come to any conclusion.
Therefore investigations regarding the nature and method of death are currently being investigated.
