New Delhi: India sees a single increase of 34,403 new Covid-19 infections while active cases decreased to 3,39,056, according to data on the Ministry of Health Union.
The active case now consists of 1.02 percent of the total infection, while the national recovery rate of Covid-19 has been recorded at 97.65 percent, he said.
The ministry said that the reduction of 8,164 cases had been recorded in the active case in a 24-hour range.
Also, 15.27,420 tests were carried out on Thursday, taking a total cumulative test carried out so far to detect Covid-19 in this country to 54.92.29.149, he said.
The daily peposititivity rate has been recorded at 2.25 percent.
It’s been less than three percent for the last 18 days, according to the data.
The weekly peposititivity level has been recorded at 1.97 percent.
It was under three percent for the past 84 days, the ministry said.
The number of people who have recovered from this disease is 3,25,60,474, while the case mortality rate has been recorded at 1.33 percent, he said.
The cumulative dose given in this country so far under vaccination drive has exceeded 77.24 crores, according to the ministry.
India Covid-19 Tally has crossed a sign of 20 lakh on August 7 last year, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on 5 and 50 September on September 16.
Passing through 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, passed 80 lakh on October 29 90 lakh on November 20 and exceeded the one-crore sign on December 19 last year.
India recorded two crore cases on May 4 and three cases of crore on June 23.
