Hyderabad: The Telangana government has decided to hold an assembly and legislative council session from September 24.
The session was required as the last session was held in March.
As a mandate, the State Assembly and the Board must be held every six months.
During the assembly session, the government can request approval of various amendments to the land level of the registration department, budget approval for the Dalit Bandhu scheme, discuss the distribution of Krishna and Godavari rivers and the implications of pumpkin notifications and also receive approval to fill vacancies in various government departments.
The cabinet is a cabinet sub-committee about Podu land issues.
The four member sub-committees were formed by Minister Satayavathi Rathod as chairman and minister – G Jagadish Reddy, a Indranjai Redy and P Ajay Kumar – as members.
The Committee will see Podu land problems.
The Cabinet also decided to form another cabinet sub-committee led by Minister T Harish Rao to see the problem of Web Portal Dhrani Land.
Committee members are ministers – Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Talangani Srinivas Yadav, Jagadish Reddy, S Niranjan Reddy and P Sabitha Indra Reddy.
Other sub-committees have been appointed on the requirements of the new police station.
Sub-committee will be led by Minister of Home Affairs Mohammed Mahmood Ali.
The cabinet was approved by the Sangameshwara and Basaveshwara Irrigation Project, which will provide irrigation facilities in Sangareddy, Andole, Zaheerabad and Narayankhed constituency.
The cabinet provided administrative sanctions against Rs 2,653 Crore for the Sangameshwara Li project and 1,774 crore Rs for the Basilveshwara project.
It also decided to honor Chakali Ilanamma, Telangana Farmers Fighters from 1946-51, by organizing official programs.
